 Some years ago, 2002 to be precise, i decided to write , publish and illustrate a small booklet detailing the history of our local small upriver Port Ballyraine , were i spent many days as a young boy thus cementing my love for the sea and also the art.
Entitled simply " The Port" , it was a good seller and the proceeds were donated to three local charities, The Donegal Hospice, Irish Lifeboats (R.N.L.I.) and The Donegal Diabetic Association. It also preserves a vital part of our local heritage now consigned to the history books.
